Nigeria footballer, Kayode Olanrewaju has filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Kayode Ezinne-Dora. The footballer alleged that the mother of three diverted significant funds and rental proceeds from properties he purchased.
He alleged that Dora is using the proceeds to sustain her extravagant lifestyle and her relationship with flamboyant Pastor, Tobi Adegboyega.
The footballer further accused Ezinne of alcohol abuse and keeping late-night parties, which contributed to the deterioration of their marriage.
Olanrewaju also mentioned in the court document he filed that Dora abducted their three children and fled from home on March 24, 2024. He said the Directorate of State Security Service (DSS), helped to track her down and was arrested at a hideout in Abuja.
He said Dora jumped bail to evade further investigation and she also attempted to secure new passports for their children to relocate abroad.
Olanrewaju said he was shocked when he got a credit alert from his father-in-law sometime in May 2024, indicating a refund of the Bride Price paid during their wedding.
He said Dora Ezinne later took to social media to declare herself traditionally free as her bride price was refunded.
Olanrewaju asked the court to dissolve his marriage with Ezinne and grant him custody of their children because his estranged wife could not be a good role model for the children of the marriage.
