Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi has gifted a car to his former U-17 coach, Nduka Ugbade, in a heartfelt show of gratitude.
Ugbade played a key role in Ndidi’s early football journey, mentoring him during his time with the Golden Eaglets and helping shape his path to the top.
Beyond his coaching role, Ugbade is a Nigerian football legend, he captained the Golden Eaglets to victory in the inaugural FIFA U-17
World Cup in 1985, then called the FIFA U-16 World Championship. Ndidi’s gesture is a powerful reminder of the deep respect between players and the coaches who believed in them from the very beginning.
