Months after being called out, an X user, Choji, popularly known as Asexual Doctor and with the handle, @Choji_ES has finally admitted not being a medical professional and said he has been facing health challenges.
Choji has been severally called out for scamming unspecified number of persons and refusing to pay for services consulted for.
He admitted being suspended from school.
In light of everything that has happened, I owe the public clarity.
I am still a medical student, and I was suspended because of personal challenges that affected my stability. Over the past few months, my mental health has taken a serious hit, and I have been struggling with habits and coping patterns that were harmful to my well-being. These challenges clouded my judgment and contributed to many of the wrong decisions I made in the past.
I also need to state clearly that I mishandled funds and affected how quickly I delivered some of the services people paid me for. I take full responsibility for these actions, and I am currently working on addressing all outstanding transactions and ensuring that everyone involved is fully settled.
I want to sincerely apologize, especially to @the_beardedsina and @SirDavidBent. They both reached out to me multiple times with genuine concern, but I did not handle my conduct well here online. I take responsibility for the chaos and the hurt I have caused you.
I must also clarify that I am not a medical doctor, and I had no right to prescribe or recommend medications the way I did in the past. That was irresponsible, and I regret it deeply!
I know this message can not undo the harm, but it is my honest attempt to show accountability. I am now getting professional support for my mental health and working on rebuilding myself so that I can correct my path.
To everyone affected by my actions, directly or indirectly, I am deeply sorry.
I would also like to state clearly that I am not on TikTok. Any social media account claiming to be me is fake.
Given the pressure, confusion, and damage this situation has caused, I will be stepping away from social media completely. This account will be permanently deactivated within the coming week so I can focus on personal growth, restitution, and repairing my life offline.
