A man, Ayoade Adewole, with the handle @ay_david on X, has called for a state-sponsored assassination on investigative journalist, David Hundeyin following his recent exposé on United States Agency for International Development (USAID) involvement in sponsoring terrorism in Nigeria.
In a shocking and viral tweet, the X user, who is now identified as Ayoade David Adewole by David Hundeyin, wrote, “This guy is a great example of a case where state-sponsored assassination (at the right time) is necessary.”
In response, Hundeyin explained that the assassination advocate should be more concerned about the deep-seated issues plaguing Nigerian society, where he resides, rather than fixating on his death for exposing critical national issues that endanger citizens’ lives.

“Don’t worry about a government killing me. Worry about a trailer falling off Ojuelegba bridge and crushing you and the Okada you’re on.

“Worry about having a medical emergency and ending up at a hospital with no electricity.
“You honestly have bigger problems than I do,” David Hundeyin tweeted
