A 45-year-old electrician who was electrocuted on August 10, 2025 in Shasha area of Lagos has been confirmed dead.
The unnamed electrician was electrocuted in Shasha, Alimosho Area Council while reconnecting electricity cables to an electric pole.The Action Team of the Lagos State Police Command visited the scene and he was rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
Meanwhile, on July 17, 2025, at about 5:40hrs, following credible intelligence, operatives attached to Tactical Squad of the Command, Surulere,
arrested four suspected cultists in their hideout in Ebute Meta. The suspects, Raphael Ashim ‘m’ aged 30, Wasiu Kareem ‘m’ aged 33,
Sadiq Olabisi ‘m’ aged 40, and Ibrahim Abdul ‘m’ aged 22, investigation revealed were linked to the recent murder of one Kamoru ‘m’ aged 30. Manhunt for other gang members is ongoing.
