Man killed by prostitute he invited home

A 48-year-old man simply identified as Okafor has been murdered by one Joy Kelvin, the prostitute he brought home.
Yesterday, October 7, 2024, at about 7:20.a.m, a complainant reported at Ilasan Police Division that about 5:32.a.m, he got a call from one of his friends, that one Okafor who was also his friend, was stabbed in his house at Jakande Housing Estate, Lekki, Lagos by Joy Kelvin, a prostitute he brought to his house overnight.
He stated further that the victim was rushed to a General Hospital in Marina Lagos where he was pronounced dead by the doctor on duty.
Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benin Hundeyin said on the receipt of the report, the scene was visited by detectives of the division, photographs was been taken and the corpse was been evacuated and deposited at General Hospital Morgue, Yaba,Lagos for preservation and autopsy and the suspect has been arrested.
He said effort was also on to locate the family members of the deceased.
MEANWHILE, the Police yesterday paraded of suspected cultists who were arrested in Ipaja area of Lagos.
On October 6, 2024, anti-crime patrol team of Elere Division, while stationed at Agbotikuyo along Ipaja Road, intercepted the two suspected cultists.
18-year-old Alimi Abdulrasak and 18-year-old Eniola Shamsudeen both of Oniwaya area of Agege, with a back bag. The bag was searched leading to the recovery of their weapons two axes and two bottles.
