To enhance their safety on duty and other areas, the Chairman of the Lagos State Taskforce, Adetayo Akerele, yesterday distributed safety kits to officers and men of the agency
Materials distributed include protective boots, helmets and others.
During the distribution, the Chairman emphasised the importance of prioritising health and personal well-being. Part of the materials distributed included 1200 boots and 600 helmet.
Akerele said: “Help yourself, take care of your health, and reduce your salt intake.
He added: “Feed yourself with nutritious food, and don’t wait until there’s a problem before going for a medical check-up.”
He reaffirmed his commitment to staff welfare, stating, “I always place the welfare of my staff at the forefront. If Taskforce will remain Taskforce, all of us must double our efforts, and the achievements will be dedicated to every one of you.”
CSP Akerele also encouraged officers to make good use of the distributed kits, ensuring improved service delivery and enhanced safety in their operations.
