Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has stirred reactions online after sharing a series of posts about dealing with narcissists.
This came hours after her husband, Bobby Maris, shared a cryptic message about marriage.
The drama started on Monday when Bobby posted a message suggesting that not every woman is fit to wear the “crown,” a remark many followers interpreted as a comment on marriage and relationships.
Less than a day later, Uche shared a lengthy post on surviving a narcissist, advising people to stop overexplaining themselves, embrace emotional detachment, set consequences for disrespect and refuse to be manipulated through guilt.
Although the actress did not mention anyone by name, the timing of the post quickly got people talking, with some social media users linking it to Bobby’s earlier message.
Social media users reacted differently to the exchange, with some expressing frustration over public discussions of marital problems. “Please you people should let us breathe with failed marriages,” one commenter wrote. Another urged the actress to “move on,” while others weighed in on the expectations and challenges of marriage.
The conversation escalated further on Tuesday when Uche’s sister publicly weighed in with a strongly worded post directed at Bobby.
In the post, she accused him of contributing little to the family and alleged that he offered neither emotional, physical nor financial support. She also claimed he often provoked Uche before bringing out a camera to record her reaction.
“Her only crime was that she said she’s not doing again oo. Go and find your next client lazy thing!!!!” she wrote.

The post has since attracted attention online, with many followers weighing in on the ongoing exchange.
Neither Uche nor Bobby has publicly addressed the speculation surrounding their marriage. However, their recent posts, along with the intervention from Uche’s sister, have continued to fuel conversations across social media.
