Member representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Dr. Kalejaye Adeboye Paul, also known as KAP has advised elected officials to take feedbacks and ask those they lead their needs, than giving them what they think should be done.
He made the call in Awodi-Ora, Ajegunle, Lagos at a programme where he shared his stewardship and also outlined his vision.
He said elected officials must provide what is useful to the people. He also called for support.
“We have almost a year before the 2027 elections and there is a lot that can be done before then and we are trusting God that we will get our constituency projects funded. Funding has been constrained by the challenges in the nation.
“It must be noted that what President Bola Tinubu is doing for us in Nigeria is enormous. Maybe Nigeria could have gone into precipice if we have not had President, because, as at that time, payment of salaries has been problematic and resources for projects were being used to pay workers, with many being owed.
He added that if President Tinubu can’t fix Nigeria, then, we are done for.
“President Tinubu has the intellect, commitment, ability and vision to take Nigeria out of the wood and we are getting out of it.
Presenting his stewardship, the house of representatives members who has sponsored three bills and moved six motions so far, presented that he has facilitated training of over 200 youths in ICT with incentives, food palliative for 7000 constituents, installed solar streetlights in 22 streets, empowered members of his constituency with sewing machines, tricycles, grinding machines, standing dryers, motorcycles and makeup equipment.
He said he has also constructed blocks of classrooms at Ladipo Primary School in Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), facilitated 500kva transformer and others.

When asked about new projects he’s embarking on, he said: “Constituents should expect robust representation; I promised to give a voice to Ajeromi Ifelodun and I started that almost immediately. Everyone in NASS knows me by my name, I positioned myself, I don’t miss sitting and I dedicate myself. I will prioritize my programmes to focus more on the youth.”
“I remain steadfast in my commitment to attract more developmental projects to Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency, ensuring the delivery of the true dividends of democracy to the people. My leadership will continue to inspire hope and progress across all sectors within the constituency.”
