Petitioner withdraw case against Ese Daniel in N750 million fraud case

Petitioner has withdrawn a case in connection to N750 million fraud allegedly committed by one Ese Cynthia Daniel.
Daniel was declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for suspected conspiracy and fraud.
It will be recalled that she was previously reported to the police by one Temitope Lawanson for allegedly conspiring, obtaining money amounting to N750M from her by false pretence and stealing which triggered her being wanted by the police.
Daniel said upon police investigation into the matter, it was discovered that all the allegations against her were false and she was found to be a victim of circumstance considering the petitioner herself had been well-briefed and knew that it was one Chike Agada (the third party) who was solely responsible for the default.
She said she was completely absolved from any wrong-doing and subsequently cleared of all the criminal charges that were levelled against her.
She added that the culprit has been apprehended and made to pay full restitution to the complainant.
She said the previous publications in which she was declared wanted by the police pertaining to this case was equally been retracted and she was proven not guilty.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Force CID Annex, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Aminat Mayegun confirmed that the case has been resolved after the petitioner’s lawyer wrote the for withdrawer. She also denied that the police retracted publication declaring her wanted.
